Prayer Requests through a Pastor and Friend of PAN Missions in Nicaragua.

Let's not stop praying for every corner of our nation of Nicaragua For:

1. Peace with justice

2. Reconciliation and true forgiveness between families, churches, communities and nation

3. Salvation of souls and reforms of minds, may God grant the gift of repentance and faith for our nation to enter into a Saviour and Redeemer Revelation in Christ.

4. A government that is for fair judgment, values and principles of God. With a government that matters to God and loves his people

5. True repentance with fruit worthy of repentance.

6. Prosperity with integrity, honesty and without corruption. Come investment that will dignify workers and provide them with what is necessary to provide for their families, dreams, purposes and destinations

7. A Nicaragua that is based on God's truth and not come out of a lie to enter another worse. That medicine is no worse than the disease.

8. Change that honors God and establish God's will on our land.

9. No more deaths and for comfort for those who have lost their relatives.

10. God to open our eyes, hearts and minds to needy, oppressed, prisoners, widows, orphans and even our enemies and adversaries.

11. God to save our hearts from bitterness and hate.

EMERGENCY DONTAION REQUEST
Annette Vickers, on behalf of the PAN board, has written a brief summary of the situation in Nicaragua resulting in PAN Missions asking for your prayerful consideration of making an emergency donation to PAN. If you feel connected to one of our staff, Ernan or Belkis, or workers such as; Samuel, Jonathan, Mauricio, Allan, Martha or Mirna, you may even consider "adopting" that person and supporting them until the crisis is over.

Dear friends of PAN and Nicaragua:

We are all agonising over the domestic crisis situation in Nicaragua. Certainly none of us saw this coming. Most economic activity has come to a standstill and now the people are experiencing shortages of food, fuel and other necessities. One powerful positive is that it has mobilized Christians in Nicaragua and also abroad to pray fervently for this beautiful country. We are confident that God is already at work and that His perfect plans are falling into place bit by bit.

But meanwhile, PAN finds itself in crisis management as a mission organization. PAN relies on our Teams as our means of generating funds to pay salaries for our Nicaraguan staff and outside workers. These are the people that take care of you when you are in Nicaragua. With Mission trips being cancelled we are rapidly approaching a fiscal emergency but we want to be able to keep our staff working and to help all who are affiliated with PAN to be able to feed their families and keep their children in school. To this end we are asking you to prayerfully remember us and to make an emergency donation to PAN so that we can bless the people that we all know and love. Your gift of course will be tax receipted.

We are so extremely grateful to our faithful friends in Elora (the KNECT group) who already anticipated the need and blessed us with the first donation. Would you please consider following their example so that we can commit to supporting our extended Christian family in Nicaragua?

Donations can be sent to: (Please include a note as to where you wish your donation to go plus your name and complete mailing address for the tax receipt.)

Kind. Gentle. Humble. Tranquil. Brave. Beautiful.
I met Katherine when I was visiting the children in the Oncology ward of La Mascota Hospital in Nicaragua. It was 2006 and she was 15 years old. I never knew what to expect when I walked in to visit patients in their hospital rooms. Each was experiencing their own unique and challenging hard ship but with Katherine, read more

  New Partnership!
PAN is absolutely delighted to announce that we are now partnering with the Canadian Bible Society to distribute bibles in Nicaragua. We are so looking forward to putting God’s word into the hands of spiritually hungry people in churches, poor barrios, hospitals, clinics, orphanages, Feeding Centres, prisons, public schools and children in our MAC Sports program. It’s a privilege to partner with such a committed organization and we encourage your financial and prayer support for this very worthwhile ministry.

FONAB CASA:  Friends of Nicaragua Casa Alberta Canada

Our Mission is to Serve our Lord Jesus Christ by partnering with Pastor Carlos Garcia and the Great Harvest Association Ministry to build houses in the poverty-stricken country of Nicaragua.

Our goal is to mobilize volunteers from local communities to help build these houses which will promote home ownership and provide an opportunity for relationships to be built not only between the people of the community, but also with the Local Great Harvest Association Church.

The cost to build 1 house is $2,300 Cdn and includes a concrete floor, cinderblock walls, and zinc roofing) and we plan to build 12 houses every year (one per month).
