Dear friends and supporters of Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans,

Thank you so much for your faithful support of PAN Missions through the years, and particularly, for your love for God and the people of Nicaragua. Your faithful enthusiasm for the ministry has been a deep encouragement, not only to countless Nicaraguans, but to those of us on the Board of PAN Missions.

We are saddened to announce that Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans has commenced the dissolution process with the Canada Revenue Agency. Following the winding up period PAN will cease to exist as a registered Canadian charity. This is a difficult decision made only after a great deal of prayer, and persistent hard work over a number of years to examine alternatives. However, circumstances in Nicaragua are such that we are critically limited in our ability to operate in Nicaragua as a foreign charity and so the decision has been made to close PAN. To that end we have fulfilled our obligations to all PAN’s Nicaraguan staff, and transferred PAN’s assets and ministries into the hands of the Nicaraguan Church. It is our prayer that God’s work will continue under the leadership and direction of Nicaraguan Christians.

Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans is no longer operational as a charity and will no longer accept donations. If you made a donation in 2023 you should have already received your charitable tax receipt. Please contact us if you did not.

Again, thank you for your faithful support, prayer, and enthusiastic engagement over the years. There are so many great stories of how God has worked in you and through you, facilitated by PAN’s partnership. While it may not be with PAN in its historic form, we have no doubt that God will continue to move in new and exciting ways in the emerging chapters of his kingdom work.
